Over the past several years, Monica has been an active member and supporter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation®. Starting on December 5, 1999, when she spent an evening with children of the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Greater Atlanta at the organization's annual holiday party (the Grammy award-winning singer read the children a Christmas story at the party, complete with an appearance by Santa Claus, his gift bag, elves, and -- of course -- music), Monica has remained a steadfast and loyal supporter of the charity. Even before that, on June 24, 1999, when she hosted a series of roller rink skating parties in conjunction with the National Make-A-Wish Foundation®, with a portion of the proceeds going to the organization, Monica has continued to hold the charity very close and dear to her heart.

Since its founding, the Make-A-Wish Foundation® has fulfilled its mission thanks to the millions of individuals, organizations, and corporations that have supported the organization by volunteering, donating, sharing the Make-A-Wish® message, and participating in the wish experience. • Make a donation - Giving to the Make-A-Wish Foundation® is easy, and there are plenty of options. Donations can be received online or via mail. From monthly giving to tribute donations to workplace giving, generous people make the wishes of extraordinary children come true. • Become a corporate sponsor - The Make-A-Wish Foundation®'s corporate partners make a difference in the lives of wish children and their families. • Purchase Make-A-Wish products - Sixty-nine percent of the purchase price of cards and calendars directly benefits the Make-A-Wish Foundation®.
